woo! this week has been a fruitful wk. my dear zionites, thk God for yr hard work! we've see a total of 16 visitors come for closets II as well as NINE converts! wow, indeed God is faithful.

ytd, northeast had our cl retreat called DEEPER. we're greeted by candles when we stepped into the rc. quite a pretty sight. then we had warm towels waiting for us. spent some time in solitude with God. reflected abt God's faithfulness recently and i'm really grateful for all that he blessed me with. we also wrote our our blessings on paper and burnt them as a sweet aroma of worship unto the Lord.

zion core team left for rachel's house to bathe. we bought food frm rach's store. haha, we crapped, shared some past experiences and did crazy things. like everyone went high except rach and i who fell aslp :/

at ard 430am, we went to join the rest who weren't slping yet at sr macs where we really slacked ard and jus enjoy one another's presence. after that we went the playgrd. at abt 6, we went to rach's hse to sleep.

the nxt day, we had a hard time waking up. uhm, i was hated for my phone alarm :/ then, we met with the rest at rc and went jalan kayu to eat teochew porridge buffet.



the food is not bad.


after this, i had mtg with my cls. they are getting more and more audacious and starting step over my head >:( haha but was fun.

yay! better go study now.

sometimes it's good to just be plain and simple minded.
we don't always have to perceive things so complex when they really aren't.
sometimes there's seriously no underlying meaning in those words or actions
perhaps we shld begin to believe that things are exactly the way we see.
sometimes we should be naive and begin to trust in everyone we encounter
we don't need to put our guard on all the time, how tiring it would be.

it's good to be innocent .
to be free of all troubles and worries.
to a child, everyone is good,
the world is a happy place.
such thoughts are complexly simple;
yet simply complicated
how paradoxical.

we celebrated tracy's bday as a class today. we were SUPER noisy in the canteen. aiya, what do you expect for a class with so many girls.

after hse mtg, i joined NEA1 for cg. saw janice, the new b there. real glad for her :D following that was zion ctm. prayed tgt, shared blessings tgt and caught up with one another's grp progress.

yup, so we're aiming for 24 visitors and 13 converts for closets this wk! jiayou everyone!

gi's coreteam celebrated my bday at the mind's cafe at clarke quay. as usual it was fun being tgt. playing card games and board games and taking photographs (:

one thing i was reminded of is God's faithfulness in my life through gi's sharing. thk God for protecting me these 17 years, sheltering me frm the full impact the challenges in life could bring. really touched.

I GOT BACK MY LOST WALLET TODAY!
I was so so so happy to get back my wallet altho the money are mostly gone besides my tithing cos i hid it (so i wouldn't spent it) and the coins. so glad to get back all my cards esp my ezlink, my condo gate access card and all the encouragement cards. thk God for His blessing :D

after school i was supposed to meet layling and rachel to go shopping. lays and i went zara first while rachel met us there. all of us were feeling uber hungry, and lays was insisting billy bombers so we went there.
when we enter the restaurant, there's this round seat that was reserved. but lays and rach went to sit there then i had a horrible shock. i was like, how come they so mean one, ppl reserve the seats alr then they still sit there. to my surprise, they reserved the seats so embarrassed, i settled down. then rach took out the laptop and said they got sth to show me.
while viewing the video, all of sudden, there's this grp of people behind me who started singing birthday song. I was like stunned la. they turn out to be the rest of my core team minus kar!OMG! being an emo kid, guess what i did? haha. was terribly touched. seriously i nv crossed my mind that they'll all come to celebrate my birthday lars. felt loved. thks dear(s) (:

had a great time of dinner.

laughed a lot till we almost hyper ventilate.

Numbers 20:12
But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them."

The Lord has commanded Moses to speak to the rock and water will be poured out from the rock. However, Moses struck the rock twice with his staff instead. It was clearly an act of disobedience and a demonstration of faithlessness. Moses did get water out frm the rock as the God commanded BUT he did not obey God's instruction as to how he shld perform this miraculous act.
How many times has we, as children of God, failed to obey God completely? partial obedience is still disobedience and it displeases God greatly. And also leaning on our wisdom surely will lead us to nowhere in the end. Moses leaned on his own understanding in doing things and thus he did not get the promised land.
What is surprising is that he actually lacked faith, faith to believe that God would really let water pour out when he speaks to the rock. Hasn't Moses witnessed numerous signs and wonders and even departed the Red Sea himself? He has even met God face to face in the holy of holies. Why was he faithless then? sometimes, are we like that as well? although witnessing how God has transformed our lives, blessed our grp and so on, we still have the tendency to doubt in God 's power. why so?

I pray that during this harvest period, i will approach this harvest season with great faith, a ridiculous faith to believe in every word of the Lord. We shall plunder hell and populate heaven. It shall be done! FIFTY FOR JESUS!

kinda dead tired now. it has been an evenful day for me.

woke up at abt 8 to go sch to prepare for band investiture. hmm i think it wasn't that fantastic after all but oh wells. i'm glad the J1 percs didn't do a bad job on the ensemble altogether, heard it was rather well received. hurhur. other than the part when i messed up :/
so we had lunch together as a section. had phototaking and 'prize' presentation as well. quite fun la. daowei and willian were gaying tgt.

then, i left in a hurry for service. was quite late :x but thk God i didn't miss out on the sermon today. think that God really reminded me of my central calling which is to proclaim His love to others. i seemed to have been too indulgent with the things i had to do that i neglect my purpose. i asked God today to give me a new burden for His ppl; to enable me to really know the heartbeat of God for the lost. i pray i'll really use my gift of evangelist to the best, being His ambassador to bring ppl who wld be part of the multitude, mentioned in the bible, praising His holy name.

after service, i hanged ard for a while before going to watch PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEANS: THE DEAD MAN'S CHEST. watch it with jessica, willian, edward and jasper. wa, the movie super long la. 2 1/2 hrs. many many events; got jessica and i confused. wasn't as great a movie as i expected, mostly cos didn't really have a proper ending and i was terribly sleepy. hmm, it's still worth watching (: pls go watch. haha.

AHHH. i lost my wallet :'(
my $40 dollars are gone. my tithe and breakthrough pledge for the week are gone as well. my card for my condo's side gate is gone also and the bad side of it is that $100 is needed to replace it. my ezlink card is gone and i jus topped up last night.
ALL GONE.

wa. today i intended to study after joining nea1 for breakfast den in the end i dragged pam and lays to shop at abt 4.30pm. hahaha. but due to time constraints we shopped at j8:/ it ended up with a long dinner. we're like tai-tais la.

went ding tai fung first. the food was not bad, it's a fresh thing frm the usual oily food. nice nice.

den we proceed to eat deserts. how sinful 8/ so we headed for swensens. ordered banana crumble or sth like tt. was nice too but a bit too sweet.

great to spend some time to catch up with pam n lays, and jus enjoy life. spent lots of money tho. ought to be more thrifty for the nxt few days.

thk God for all yr hard work for the past one wk. heard GREAT stories abt ppl going all out to gather contacts and i'm real proud that zion won the unit with the most no of contacts :D thk God for taking the initiative even i couldn't really be on the battle grd with us due to my mid years. this week we've see TWO andersonians crossing the line of faith! wow. can really see that God is moving :)

BUT as much as we delight in all these, we must have holy discontentment as well! the kingdom of God shld advance much much faster. the amt of contacts we've collected is good but not good enough! we've gotta galvanise ourselves for more contact gathering until all of us have at least five responsive contacts. i'm planning to go down to several schs to collect contacts as well. this wk we'll be getting to know our contacts better, so arrange meals, dota, wadeva. haha

these two months will be a crucial period. i pray that all of us will be on board tgt and give our very very best unto God bcos He's worthy. rmb that i'll treat the sch which hits their end aug goals first (: jiayou everybody!
